PQI's lid-free Cool Drive U350

PQI’s innovative data storage devices make a style statement of their own. PQI has designed and developed one of the coolest and trendiest looking flash drives with the mechanisms of an everyday pen. It has aimed to store large quantities of data in the most conveniently sized USB flash drive with a retractable connector head to provide greater protection. The 7.75 cm PQI Cool Drive U350 is available with 0.5 to 4 GB capacities and is compatible with Windows XP and OS X-based systems. It is a little lengthier than the usual pen drives which makes it difficult to lose.

PQI has given the Cool Drive U350 some unique features. It has a lid-free design. The delicate USB connector head is well protected as it automatically retracts into the main body when the outer tab is pulled. This makes the flash drive lid redundant and hence users will not have to worry about losing the lid. The easy-to use Cool Drive U350 is attractively designed like a pen, with a metallic orange and black aluminum body. The PQI LED logo is on the top of the drive. When the drive is inserted in to the port and is activated, the logo lights up orange and acts as a LED indicator. After removing the, the fingertips have to be placed on the sides and the Cool Drive U350 has to be pulled out in a single motion. The connector head then retracts into the main body.

Conforming to the features of the lid-free series, the PQI U350 is available with USB Notebook Professional security and personal management software.
